Located at 26 Pham Thi Lien Street, Kim Long Ward, Hue City, this garden house was established in 1906 on a land plot of 1442 sqm.
It typicallyrepresentslocal traditional garden houses owning gorgeous cultural, historicaland aesthetic values. The wooden beams and trussesof the house retain almost intact. As time passes, some structural partshave been modified or replaced by the owner, but the folkhouse basically keeps its original appearance. Around the house there are many perennial trees and fruit trees such as Mangosteen, Jackfruit, and Mango. The entrance path to the main building was led by two lines of Acalypha siamensisshrubs. The house is currently used as residence and a worshipping place for ancestors.
After three restorations in 1963, 2001 and 2012, some structures were deteriorated. In 2017, the house restoration received financial assistance from the People's Committee of Hue City with a total funding of nearly 500 million.
